Mr. Shawqi Ahmed Hayel Saeed - Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tadhamon Bank met on Friday evening 14/02/2020, President of the Yemeni community and a number of members of the Yemeni community in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the presence of a number of representatives of the Yemeni Consulate in the city of Jeddah.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Vice President of Tadhamon Bank thanked the leadership of the community in Makkah Al-Mukarramah for organizing this meeting with a group of community members, praising the role played by the community leadership in serving the Yemeni citizens present in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

Shawqi Hayel previewed the new services provided by Tadhamon Bank, which are all in the service of the Yemeni expatriate, the most important of which are housing, lending and micro-finance services.

The Vice President of Tadhamon Bank referred to the transfer service launched by the bank through Saudi banks (Bank Albilad - Injaz) (Al Ahli Bank - Quick Pay) and the Saudi Postal Service's dispatch service that can transfer to any region in Yemen and receive it from the points of Tadhamon network spread throughout the Republic with a nominal fee.

Expressing the readiness of the bank to coordinate with the Yemeni communities to put in place a specific mechanism to take advantage of the large real estate properties owned by the bank in Yemen by establishing housing properties for expatriates and handing them away from the problems they face when purchasing land.

The Vice President of Tadhamon Bank" also mentioned the funds provided by the bank to the youth category through the provision of soft loans in accordance with the Islamic method, which helps them in the formation of their small projects, which contribute to reducing the phenomenon of unemployment and poverty that has increased in the community.

Stressing that the leadership of the bank is keen to create a sustainable and joint partnership with Yemeni expatriates abroad, stressing the need to enhance aspects of cooperation between all groups and segments of Yemeni society, especially in the current period to alleviate the forms of suffering that Yemeni people face.

For his part, the head of the Yemeni community in Makkah, Sheikh Ahmed Abdul Salam Al Qurashi, welcomed Mr.  Shawqi Hayel, appreciating his visit to the community, stressing the readiness of the community to create joint cooperation with Tadhamon Bank, including what aims to serve the expatriates and develop solutions of common concern to the problems facing them. The members of the Yemeni community in Mecca have decided to choose Mr. Shawqi Ahmed Hayel Saeed as Honorary President of the community.
