Tadhamon Bank Participates in the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group, 2024  

Tadhamon Bank participated in the annual conference of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) 2024, which coincided with the celebration of the Golden Jubilee of the establishment of the IDB. The bank’s active participation took place in the Private Sector Forum of the IDB Group, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, the capital city. The events commenced on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Tadhamon Bank’s participation came at the invitation of the IDB Group and within the framework of the partnership established by the bank in several projects financed by the IDB in Yemen through the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (SMEPS). The most prominent of these projects was the Brave Women project, which supports women entrepreneurs in Yemen.

This year’s meetings are held under the theme: "Honoring Our Past, Shaping Our Future: Authenticity, Solidarity, and Prosperity," with high-level participation from Ministers of Economy, Planning, and Finance from the IDB member states, representatives of various financial institutions, Islamic banks, the private sector, development institutions, and international and regional organizations.

The bank actively participated in the meetings and sessions of the conference, which addressed themes of social and economic development as well as regional and international cooperation.
